The Songwriter Deluxe features smooth-playing mahogany neck with a round profile, while its ebony fingerboard displays Gibson dual parallelogram inlays. In addition to the thick, full sound of the Songwriter Deluxe’s square-shouldered small dreadnought body, Gibson luthiers have endowed the instrument with a full complement of enhancements, such as gold tuners, a sculpted pickguard, 6-ply top binding, and an abalone rosette. Its thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the guitar’s tone to bloom and evolve as the wood ages naturally. Onboard Fishman electronics, with a three-band EQ and a builtin tuner, help make this a great performer’s guitar.
