414CE 2009 Spring LTD

Each year at this time Bob Taylor and his team of luthiers offer a limited production run of special guitars featuring exotic woods and upgraded specs. The 2009 414CE Spring Limited model features exotic Tasmanian Blackwood. This nicely figured wood is similar to koa in appearance and only grows on the island of Tasmania off the southern coast of Australia. It is a highly protected, rare wood and is not often available in quantity. Blackwood produces a warm, solid tone that is highly desirable. Taylor chose to match this wood to a Sitka spruce top for fidelity and even tone at all playing levels. This ultra-value 400 series guitar is adorned with a narrow maple wedge on the back, maple binding and a maple heel cap. Add diamond fingerboard inlays, an abalone rosette, and an all-gloss finish and you’ve got a guitar that is packed with extras at an amazing price. Guitar Center will be among the first to receive these guitars from Taylor. The quantity of guitars is very limited will be available at select Guitar Center locations and we expect them to sell out very quickly.
